About Us Our company was started in 1929 by Leopold Leclerc, a recent French Canadian immigrant who needed to feed 14 children during "The Great Depression". His astonishing work on the "St. Francis of Xavier" church in Winooski, VT can still be admired to this day.
As a third generation company, this work ethic has allowed us to persevere for over 80 years through economic downturns while others have gone bankrupt or just faded away.
